NAGALASA in blood

A direct window into the behavior of tumor cells and viruses in your body

How can we know if a treatment for cancer or infection is really working?
Nagalasa analysisis an advanced clinical tool that measures the activity of a key enzyme produced by tumor cells and certain viruses, providing an early, effective, and non-invasive marker for monitoring immune status and therapeutic efficacy in real time.

This test measures the activity of theenzyme alpha-N-acetylgalactosaminidase (Nagalase)in the blood, a secreted protein:

  • Bytumor cellsduring cancer progression and invasion.
  • Due toviruses such as HIV and influenza, or in chronic infections such asLyme disease.

An increase in Nagalasa levels may indicate:

  • Active tumor proliferationin various types of cancer: breast, colon, lung, prostate, ovary, among others.
  • Active viral load or persistent chronic infections.
  • Failure or poor effectiveness of current treatments.
