Ebola and ozone therapy

The news coming out of Africa about Ebola is frightening. In the most affected countries, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea, there have been at least 6,388 deaths and 17,942 cases.

In our country, on December 2, the World Health Organization declared Spain Ebola-free, as 42 days had passed since Teresa Romero, the last patient, had been cured.

There is no treatment or vaccine for the Ebola virus.

Ebola patients with hemorrhagic fever are treated with intravenous or oral rehydration.

Many viruses do not have a vaccine. Furthermore, due to their lethality and the socio-economic circumstances of the countries in which they develop, adequate research is not carried out.

In the United States, where there have been four cases and one death so far, all kinds of research is being conducted to try to stop Ebola.

One of them refers to the use of ozone therapy for the treatment of Ebola.

Treatment for Ebola with ozone therapy

With a treatment costing less than €40, Dr. Robins of New York and Dr. Rowen of Santa Rosa, California, announced in November that they had successfully cured Ebola in a doctor who became infected after pricking himself with a needle in Sierra Leone, using ozone.

Ebola and ozone therapy. Dr. Rowen

The doctor, who had been trained in Rowen-Robins' Ebola treatment protocol, which uses Robins' specific method of direct intravenous infusion (DIV) of ozone gas, was infected on November 14. On November 16, he developed the first symptoms, and after applying Robins and Rowen's therapy on the 18th, he had already recovered and had no symptoms.

The physician reported high fever, loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, and significant fatigue, symptoms that rapidly progressed to classic signs of Ebola on day 16. By day 18, he no longer had any symptoms.

The treatment was coordinated by Kojo Carew, MD, from Freetown, Sierra Leone. Dr. Carew is the physician responsible for maintaining the program and equipment/supplies brought and taught by Rowen/Robins, who arrived in Sierra Leone to teach the protocol at the invitation of President Ernest Bai Koroma in October 2014.

The cured doctor decided not to take an Ebola blood test at that time. A positive test would have forced him into confinement at an Ebola treatment center where ozone therapy would have been denied. He believed this would likely have cost him his life, as the best clinics in Sierra Leone have a mortality rate of 60%.

Rowen and Robins, who were monitoring the treatment, did not want to wait for a positive test, which can take several days, believing that the more aggressively and early this viral infection is treated, the greater the chance of recovery. Active treatment is maintained for at least 10 days with a reduction in frequency for 7 days thereafter.

Confinement in a conventional Ebola treatment facility would have denied him the continuous ozone therapy that, for the first time in the world, rapidly reversed the manifestation of the deadly Ebola disease. DIV ozone therapy is considered "experimental" for Ebola at this time and is not currently permitted in treatment centers. However, other experimental treatments are permitted.

On November 22, 2014, Dr. X is in apparent good health and completely symptom-free.

Doctors Rowen and Robins are very pleased that inexpensive DIV ozone, along with other aspects of the treatment protocol (oral vitamin C, nutritional support), has led to the first rapid and complete recovery from Ebola symptoms.

This announcement was published on Dr. Rowen's website before appearing in a medical journal, as Dr. Rowen and Dr. Robins believe that this news can and should lead to saving many lives, which they consider more important than routine medical reporting protocols. Health authorities around the world must be vigilant in order to tackle this deadly disease.

Rowen and Robins remain continuously available to assist in Ebola relief efforts around the world.

It should also be noted that for quite some time, the International Medical Ozone Federation (IMEOF) has claimed that ozone therapy is a viable solution for combating the Ebola virus due to its immune system-boosting properties, and has called on the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other health authorities and NGOs, to authorize its use within medical protocols.
