Heavy metal chelation therapy, what is it?

Heavy metal chelation therapy in Spain

In the majority of cases of heavy metal poisoning, the treatment of choice is chelation therapy.. Both in integrative or biological medicine as conventional. Chelation therapy is based on introducing intravenous chelating agents to attract and scavenge toxic metals or chemical compounds and eliminate them through urine. The chelator of choice will depend on the heavy metal to be removed.

Metals such as aluminium, mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium or nickel are deposited in the tissues and some of them penetrate into the cells (mercury and lead). They are also deposited in the artery walls or joints. This detoxifies the body, reactivates essential vital functions and increases oxygenation and vitality.

Chelation therapy and heavy metal toxicity

The chelation therapy can improve many conditions including anxiety, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic fatigue, digestive problems, varicose veins, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, premature ageing, and in general, any chronic or degenerative disease. Applications of chelation therapy

Mercury chelation

The symptoms of mercury poisoning are numerous: hormonal problems, muscle pain, depressed immune system, cognitive problems or depression, among others. When we diagnose the excessive presence of this compound in the blood, we apply a patient-specific chelation therapy. Read more about mercury chelation

Lead chelation

Toxicity from excessive lead in the blood can affect the brain development and calcium levels in the bones, leading to osteoporosis and causing high blood pressure or kidney and reproductive problems in adults. Read more about lead chelation

Arterial cleaning and chemical bypass

Treatment with chelation sera with edetate disodium that allows us to progressively remove calcium and fatty build-up from the inner layer of the arteries. In this way we progressively recover the internal calibre of the arteries, the blood flows easily and the generation of thrombi and embolisms that can cause cerebrovascular accidents is prevented. Heart attack prevention

Treatment with chelation serums with edetate disodium which allows us to progressively eliminate the accumulation of calcium and fat from the inner layer of the arteries. In this way we progressively recover the internal calibre of the arteries, the blood flows easily and the generation of thrombi and embolisms that can cause cerebrovascular accidents is prevented.

What is heavy metal chelation therapy indicated for?

Chelation therapy is indicated in all cases of arteriosclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases, angina pectoris and repeated heart attacks, arthrosis and general ageing of the body, autoimmune diseases, lack of libido, memory and concentration problems, fatigue, osteoporosis, chronic skin diseases, and whenever a heavy metal analysis shows an accumulation of heavy metals.

Diagnosis of heavy metal poisoning

At Biosalud Day Hospital, we have the HeavymetalsCHECK heavy metals test. A hair analysis that identifies and determines the toxicity level of heavy metals that overload your body, as well as quantifying the essential minerals your body lacks and those that exceed the recommended level. We then check which important mineral ratios are out of balance due to heavy metals and other nutritional deficiencies.

Heavy metal chelation therapy treatment

At Biosalud Day Hospital we are experts in the implementation of chelation therapy in Spain for heavy metal poisoning. We have the latest technology appropriate for your practice and we have years of experience. A chelation session usually lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and is applied once or several times a week. The number of sessions will depend on the amount of heavy metal to be removed. It can vary between 10 and 30. Subsequently, a session is done every 3 months to keep the body clean of metals.

Contraindications for chelation therapy

The chelation therapy has no contraindications other than total renal failure. It is a very safe and effective treatment with very good results. Although this therapy has been used for years in the USA and Europe, intravenous chelation is considered by health professionals to be the only global means of treating arteriosclerosis; it is increasingly used in Europe, because people who have used it feel very well and recommend it to others.

We hope we have responded all questions about chelation therapy. If you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
