This study is carried out using the Dignicap technique, invented by the Japanese company Sysmex, which consists of cooling the cells of the scalp, preventing the loss of 70% hair by putting on a helmet that keeps the hair at a low temperature while it receives chemotherapy treatments.

This technique is already approved in Europe and has been evaluated, according to the Breast Pathology Centre, in more than 6,000 patients from different countries in Asia, Europe and South America while receiving regular chemotherapy sessions, observing that 83 % of the users did not have to use wigs 6 months after chemotherapy treatment because only 30 percent of their hair had fallen out thanks to this technique.
