Integrative medicine offers personalised treatments for patients from all over the world who seek to improve their quality of life, prevent health problems and reduce the negative effects of daily stress, says Dr. Mariano Bueno, medical director of Biosalud Day Hospital. This is the only day hospital in Spain of integrative and regenerative medicine with high technology for diagnosis and treatment. Based in Zaragoza, in its more than 30 years it has treated more than 25,000 patients from all over Spain and from countries such as Italy, Kuwait, Arab Emirates, France, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Portugal, USA, Germany and Belgium, among others, especially for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
The key to this centre lies in the application of high technology for the development of biomedical treatments. In the case of autoimmune diseases, we investigate the cause that has triggered it in each case, with technology such as digital infrared thermography, analysing the genetic load and eliminating external factors and toxicity that may have activated it. We are also able to regenerate the tissue damaged by the autoimmune disease," explains Dr. Bueno.
In order to tackle the different factors that can favour the appearance of these pathologies, such as the stresshave developed programmes that include treatments for people with very demanding lifestyles. These are patients who are already experiencing functional problems such as memory loss and fatigue due to stress and who want to reduce internal deterioration. The techniques used include orthomolecular serum therapy, adrenal meso-stimulation or photon therapy, among others. With these treatments we can obtain the maximum performance of the person, according to their genetics, and at all levels, physical and psychological, he points out. In addition, they have developed a programme for non-professional athletes those who undergo genetic testing to tell them which sport suits them depending on their metabolism and what their nutritional and energy needs are.
