El análisis de ácidos orgánicos microbianos es el único nos permite evaluar la salud intestinal de un paciente mediante el análisis de 21 ácidos orgánicos presentes en una sola muestra de orina. De esta manera podremos conocer el incremento de los metabolitos urinarios producidos por levaduras y bacterias.
Los valores elevados de dichos metabolitos pueden indicar la existencia de disbiosis intestinal o proliferación de levaduras. Es la prueba de elección para evaluar la eficacia de un tratamiento para el desequilibrio de la flora intestinal o contra la proliferación de bacterias dañinas.
