Heavymetalscheck Urine is performed on a urine sample. The analysis of urine toxic metal levels after administration of a metal detoxification agent is an objective way to assess the accumulation of toxic metals. It is recommended to measure the concentrations of toxic elements in urine before and after administration of a chelator such as EDTA, DMSA or DMPS. This will allow estimation of the net retention of potentially toxic elements. Analyses after administration of a chelator are useful for monitoring the efficacy of metal detoxification therapy.
Once the samples arrive at Biosalud Day Hospital, we will analyse them and when we have them we will send them to you by email along with our recommendations.
